Family & Cosmetic Dentistry : Meet the Doctor

Dr. Bertram J. Hughes started the practice of dentistry in 1990. He is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Hughes has vast training and experience in many areas of dentistry, including clinical dentistry and dental research. He is a member of both the American Dental Association (ADA) and National Dental Association (NDA) as well as, the Pierre Fauchard International Dental Honor Society and the Suwannee River Valley Study Club. He has served as President of the Alachua County Dental Association and the Dental Section of the Florida Medical, Dental and Pharmaceutical Association. Currently he serves as Treasurer of the National Dental Asssociation Foundation. Dr. Hughes is involved in many other local and state boards and charities, including STOP! Children's Cancer and the Harn Museum.
